Our beginners Hustle Class continues this fall every Saturday at the Annex located at Fenkell and Monte Vista in Detroit. from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Cost is $6.00 per person. All are welcome!

Christian Service is proud to announce that our weekly Relaxation Workshop has started again, every Tuesday evening from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm at the Annex located at 10600 Fenkell and Monte Vista in Detroit.  Remember, the class is free will donation, so give from the heart.  The proceeds will be used to continue community programs just like this one.

Christian Service will work with MOSES to promote social justice issues within our community and in the City of Detroit. We are seeking volunteers to help improve our roads, especially in the Fenkell and Wyoming area, and to ensure that our city workers are not endangered by Synder's Emergency Manger initiative. Christian Service will sponsor a community Halloween party on Sunday, October 30th from 3:00 - 6:00 pm at Cornerstone School located at 13436 Grove Street in Detroit. There will be food and fun for all ages and you are invited to dress in your best costume!

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is holding a Friends of the Poor walk that will be held on Saturday, September 24th starting at Milleken State Park, 1900 Atwater Street in downtown Detroit. Please join Bill Tidwell as he teaches you how to relax using low impact yoga techniques for stretching and breathing.  The workshop is held every Tuesday evening, from 5:00 p.m to 6:30 p.m. at the Annex.

Christian Service is proud to continue our Lenten Relaxation Workshop headed by Bill Tidwell. Learn to stretch and exercise your body where every cell receives oxygen and healing energy every Tuesday evening, 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm throughout Lent at the Annex, located at 10600 Fenkell in Detroit.

Sponsored by the Christian Service Commission, this group will meet on Tuesdays, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Annex. Led by Bill Tidwell, you will learn relaxing, gently exercising and becoming aware of your breathing. Those who choose will lie on the ground (bring a mat); others will sit in a chair.

These techniques, much related to Christian meditation, can lead you to deeper prayer and relationship with God.
