Our beginners Hustle Class continues this fall every Saturday at the Annex located at Fenkell and Monte Vista in Detroit. from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Cost is $6.00 per person. All are welcome!

Christian Service is proud to announce that our weekly Relaxation Workshop has started again, every Tuesday evening from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm at the Annex located at 10600 Fenkell and Monte Vista in Detroit.  Remember, the class is free will donation, so give from the heart.  The proceeds will be used to continue community programs just like this one.

Christian Service will work with MOSES to promote social justice issues within our community and in the City of Detroit. We are seeking volunteers to help improve our roads, especially in the Fenkell and Wyoming area, and to ensure that our city workers are not endangered by Synder's Emergency Manger initiative. Christian Service will sponsor a community Halloween party on Sunday, October 30th from 3:00 - 6:00 pm at Cornerstone School located at 13436 Grove Street in Detroit. There will be food and fun for all ages and you are invited to dress in your best costume!

Soups from over 40 local restaurants, local Irish bands and dance groups will be featured at the Super Bowl Benefit for the Capuchin Soup Kitchen on Sunday, October 6th from Noon to 8 p.m. at the Polish Century Club, 33204 Maple Lane in Sterling Heights. Help the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) fill Comerica Park with Catholics during its "Day at Comerica Park" Detroit Tigers game outing. The CYO will benefit from ticket sales through its office for Sunday, September 11th game between the Tigers and the Twins. Tickets start at $14 dollars with a $6 handling fee per order. An Interfaith service and get-together to lift up Detroit will be held on Sunday, September 25th, 2011 at the Fort Street Presbyterian Church located at 631 W. Fort Street from 1:00-4:00 pm. The event is sponsored by Detroit Interfaith Outreach Network (DION).

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is holding a Friends of the Poor walk that will be held on Saturday, September 24th starting at Milleken State Park, 1900 Atwater Street in downtown Detroit.
