Many people think they’re doing the right thing by flushing unused medications down the toilet to keep them out of children’s hands.

The Detroit Passprot Agency is hosting a special passport event in Detroit, MI on Sunday, April 9, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at 211 W. Fort Street, Suite 200 in Detroit. The event is part of the U.S. Department of State's Passport Day in the USA, 2011. Apply before the Summer rush begins!

Show that you care this Lenten Season by donating to the Saints Peter & Paul Warming Center in downtown Detroit. The Center gives homeless men, women and children a place to be and to eat. It is open 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. during the week.

Christian Service is proud to continue our Lenten Relaxation Workshop headed by Bill Tidwell. Learn to stretch and exercise your body where every cell receives oxygen and healing energy every Tuesday evening, 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm throughout Lent at the Annex, located at 10600 Fenkell in Detroit.

Envelopes are being provided to help cover the cost of Easter Flowers. You may indicate your donation for a large ($15) or small ($10) flower which you may take home after Easter. Otherwise, you can donate to the General Flower Fund by Sunday, April 17th, 2011.

The Passion of Christ is reinacted at Christ the King Parish, Fridays during Lent from 7 p.m. - 8:15 p.m. and on Saturdays during Lent starting at 6 p.m.

Each Saturday evengin will start with a simple supper followed by lively discussion based on the Parish Encounter and/or selected CD Presentations.
